The inaugural Texas Gastrointestinal Cancer Conference (TexasGI26) will convene over 40 leading national experts, rising faculty, and community oncologists for two days of CE-accredited, case-driven education in the heart of Austin. Designed for practicing physicians and multidisciplinary oncology professionals, the conference addresses the most pressing challenges and advances GI cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient-centered care.

Texas GI Audience
The target audience for the Texas Gastrointestinal Cancer Conference is healthcare professionals who treat patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. Medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists, advanced practice providers, fellows and other healthcare professionals with an interest in GI-related cancers are invited to attend. Texas GI expects 200-300 attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Evaluate the impact of multidisciplinary care pathways for patients with early‑stage gastrointestinal cancers, including upper GI and colorectal malignancies, to improve clinical outcomes.
- Describe guideline‑recommended biomarker and molecular testing strategies in advanced gastrointestinal cancers, including HER2, PD‑L1, CLDN18.2, FGFR2, and clinical NGS, to inform treatment decisions.
- Assess and implement appropriate immunotherapy and targeted treatment regimens for patients with advanced GI malignancies based on molecular profile, disease characteristics, and patient factors.
- Incorporate emerging therapeutic approaches into clinical practice for gastrointestinal cancers, including antibody–drug conjugates, radiopharmaceuticals, and evolving perioperative strategies.
